Additional Info: This was my first short using 16mm. It was for an ESCAC subject and it is in mute. The main character is a friend of mine, Martí Maymó, who has become the bazz of music group called “Manel”.
Albert Pintó was born in Terrassa (Barcelona, Spain) on 28th October 1985, and graduated, specialised in direction, from ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) at the age of 21.
He is currently collaborating with the production company Mediafilms (see it at: www.mediafilms.es) and working freelance on audiovisual and publicity projects. At the tender age of 10 he became hooked on cinema when he saw “The Rock” (Michael Bay, 1996). He understood the power of the audiovisual medium to arouse people’s emotions, and since his ambition has been to arouse these emotions in the public himself.
